Everyday in crypto there is something new

We have compiled a small list of some cryptocurrency and NFTs for those of you that are new and are not aware of what is possible in the crypto/web3 industry.

Note that this is a very small and short list which is designed to allow you to see the growth of the biggest projects by the dollar.

Also note that it is not always up only, out of all of the tens of thousands cryptocurrencies, projects and NFTs there is probably less than 1% that will be successful over the long run.

The dates and prices shown below are not 100% accurate, everything is an approximation and is shown just for demonstration.

Take Precautions and Play The Long Term Game

Crypto is a chance to take control of your own finances and have money that the government cannot completely control.

Playing the long term game in crypto with solid projects that provide value is the way to go and you should only allocate money that you can afford to lose without affecting your lifestyle.

Note that crypto is not a get rich quick scheme or make life changing amounts overnight (although it is possible, look at the memecoin PEPE below)

*Note that this probably happens to 1/1000 / 1/10000 but it just shows that if you are in the right place at the right time you can obtain financial freedom easier than you think.

PEPE Coin

A memecoin called PEPE ran all the way up to a 250 million market cap in just 4 days.

There were people that turned a few hundred dollars / few thousands dollars into hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars.

The prices shown are the bottoms, tops and recent prices.

You will never buy the exact bottom and sell the exact top; it is simply to show you what is possible.

Bitcoin

The below chart shows Bitcoin trading at $0.06 per BTC in July 2010.

The below chart shows Bitcoin trading at $65,500 per BTC in November 2021.

The below chart shows Bitcoin trading at $30,000 per BTC in April 2023.

Ethereum

The below chart shows Ethereum trading at $0.91 per ETH in September 2015.

Solana

Lets look at a more recent one from the start of 2023 until April 2023…

INJ completed a 7.3x in 3 - 4 months.

Injective (INJ)

The below chart shows Injective trading at $1.27 per INJ in January 2023.

Ok, lets take a look at the chart which shows the journey that most coins follow.

This is what the infamous pump and dump looks like.

AION

The below chart shows AION trading at $0.62 per AION in October 2017.

The below chart shows AION trading at $9.94 per AION in January 2018.

The below chart shows AION trading at $0.14 per AION in December 2018.

The below chart shows AION trading at $0.0024 per AION in April 2023.

There are thousands and thousands of charts for cryptos that look like the one above.

According to Coin Market Cap there are currently 23,342 different cryptos in circulation and we could say that less than 1% are actually any good.

Now we will look at what is possible with NFTs.

There are NFTs on many different blockchains but for now we will just look at 3 NFT projects that are on the Ethereum blockchain to keep it simple.

Most are unfortunately simple cash grabs, created to steal from people and for every one that does well, most do not.

Within some of the main collections there are sub collections that are airdropped to holders for free or they receive a guaranteed mint which also allows for enormous gains to be made from the holders.

Here we will use CoinGecko charts for the collections.

Prices and dates are approximations and this article is designed to just give a very basic preview of what is possible.

Crypto Punks

It was actually free to mint a Cryptopunk NFT back in 2017.

The three highest sales recorded were

1 - 8k ETH = $23.7 million dollars at the time

2 - 4.2k ETH = $7.57 million dollars at the time

3 - 4.2k ETH = $7.58 million dollars at the time

The chart below shows that on 24th June 2017 the floor price per NFT was 0.05 ETH which was the equivalent of about $15 with the price of ETH at that time.

The chart below shows the ATH floor price per NFT at 120 ETH which was the equivalent of about $430,000 with the price of ETH at that time.

The chart below shows the recent floor price (April 2023) per NFT at 53.75 ETH which was about $112,000 with the price of ETH at that time.

Bored Ape Yacht Club

This collection was listed on Opensea in April 2021 and has since done more than 1 million ETH in volume.
(ETH price currently trading at around $2100 so you can do the rough math)

The two highest sales recorded on Opensea were;

1 - 1k ETH = around $1.5 million dollars at the time

2 - 869.69 ETH = around $1.4 million dollars at the time

The price to mint a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT was 0.08 ETH which was around $200 at the time.

The chart below shows the floor price per NFT on 29th April 2021 was 0.16 ETH which was the equivalent of about $330 with the price of ETH at that time.

The chart below shows the all time high floor price per NFT on 29th April 2022 was 146 ETH which was the equivalent of about $408,000 with the price of ETH at that time.

The chart below shows the recent floor price on 18th April 2023 and the floor price was 53.35 ETH which was the equivalent of about $112,000 with the price of ETH at that time.

Azuki

The two highest sales recorded on Opensea were;

1 - 420.7 ETH = $1.26 million dollars at the time

2 - 288.69 ETH = $433,000 at the time

You can see that Azuki has done over 480,000 ETH in volume since Jan 2022 according to Opensea (which again you can do the rough math on to see the $ amount).

The price to mint 1 Azuki NFT was around $3400 per NFT and they raised more than $30 million dollars from their mint.

The chart below shows that on 11th January 2022 the floor price was 1.5 ETH per NFT which was the equivalent of about $4500 with the price of ETH at that time.

The chart below shows the all time high floor price per NFT on 2nd April 2022 was 31.8 ETH which was the equivalent of about $98,500 with the price of ETH at that time.

The chart below shows the recent floor price per NFT on 18th April 2023 was 16.15 ETH which was the equivalent of about $34,000 with the price of ETH at that time.

Final Thoughts

It is clear from the few charts above that there are considerable gains to be made when you invest in the right projects and you are early to the party.

However,

Extensive research should be conducted and you should understand what you are putting your money into and what risks are associated with it.

You will win some and you will lose some, it’s part of the game.

When you make life-changing gains, take some profits off the table; don’t get greedy.

Crypto is a world in which you can easily change your life; for better or for worse so tread accordingly.

Invite your friends, family and loved ones to have access to life changing information and so that you can claim more NFT rewards and get them to do the same.
